Vanessa Macfarlane
Managing Director
Vanessa's career spans more than 25 years in the life science research and biotechnology markets.
Before founding iBiosys Solutions in 2010, Vanessa served as Business Development Manager, Europe, for Spark System Solutions B.V., where, during her four-year tenure, she accelerated growth of their automated bioanalytical extraction systems.
Prior to her appointment at Spark, Vanessa served as Northern European Account Manager, Laboratory Automation for Thermo Electron Corp (2003 – 2005) and held various progressive roles within the Life Science Research Division at Beckman Coulter (1996 - 2003).
Hailing from the pharmaceutical industry (Pfizer, 1992 -1996), Vanessa is a Graduate of The Royal Society of Chemistry and holds a Diploma in Management from the Institute of Leadership and Management
